PROFOUNDLY ON TARGET: HOW PROFOUND HELPED CME FEDERAL CREDIT UNION CREATE A TARGETED DIRECT MAIL CAMPAIGN
CME Federal Credit Union wanted to improve its initial contact with new members soon after they joined the credit union as well as better inform its existing members about the services offered. While not incurring a significant sales cost, CME also required a very professional and personalized piece for each member.
Profound developed and implemented a direct mail campaign enabling CME to fully recognize the benefits of its MCIF database. The program was based on the products and services CME wanted to increase member activity such as checking accounts, savings vehicles, Visa® credit cards and various loans. Further, understanding CME’s interest in keeping their costs low while testing this program on a larger basis, Profound designed letters to utilize four versions of a preprinted full-color shell, which would receive a black imprint personalized to each recipient.
