HOW PROFOUND COMMUNICATIONS ENHANCED THE MEMBERS FIRST CREDIT UNION NEWSLETTER

Opportunity
Big Bear/ Members First Credit Union desired a more professional looking newsletter.

Solution
Profound discussed a strategy with the credit union that identified several enhancements to the newsletter. The update began by changing the two-color printing to a full-color printing to improve the appearance of the newsletter and give it a more professional presentation. The credit union also changed the distribution process for the newsletter. Where the credit union had included it in the statement up until then, Profound, with its distribution and database experience, enabled the credit union to mail the newsletters directly to members. This allowed the credit union additional contact with each member on a consistent basis. In addition, the distribution change provided an additional sales vehicle for the credit union to utilize.

Result
Members First Credit Union has increased readership with the improved look and feel of the newsletter. The credit union has also enjoyed higher response rates to the offers that appear in the newsletter.
