Tammy Schalk Holtzmeier has been a marketer and executive for the financial services industry for the majority of her career. Holtzmeier has served the financial services industry in a variety of ways. Her experience includes founding the marketing and business development departments of one credit union to progressing through the credit unions ranks and serving as the Chief Executive Officer of another. Briefly, before founding Profound Communications, Holtzmeier headed the MCIF marketing operations of a multi-billion dollar regional bank. She has been active in many industry groups and associations including NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) and has been published in numerous industry and marketing publications.

She and the team at Profound have won many awards throughout the years on behalf of Profound's clients for their excellent work. Most notably, the firm's work was awarded a Cleveland Communicators' Award as well as several Marketing Brilliance Awards.

Holtzmeier has been named the recipient of the coveted national Colleen Good Marketing Award. This honor is given annually to only two financial marketers in the United States based upon their high degree of professional integrity, ethics and commitment to volunteerism. She also is a recipient of the 'Forty Under 40' Award given to outstanding up and coming professionals. Holtzmeier regularly speaks to various groups on marketing and return on investment. She also speaks to college students preparing to enter the working world and serves as a mentor to both students as well as other entrepreneurs.

A native of Ohio, Holtzmeier attended the prestigious E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. Since 2001, she has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA of Franklin County where she advocates in a legal setting for abused, neglected and dependent children. Holtzmeier also served on the board of directors of the Hannah Neil Center for Children most recently as Chairman-Elect. She participates in faith based activities with high school students including T.E.C. (Teens Encounter Christ), an annual retreat for high school age girls and Project Y.E.S. (Youth Elect Service) where teens refurbish neighborhood houses of families in need.
