Branded Desktop Wallpaper & Animated Corporate Screensaver

Sending a consistent message with CU wallpaper, animated screensaver

When members entered Ohio Valley Community Credit Union locations, they were greeted with an inconsistent branding message. From images of associates’ children, to pictures of Paris, each computer in the lobby had a different desktop. Members opening new accounts with OVCCU associates were distracted by personal screen savers appearing on the computers.

"Unprofessional screensavers and randomly selected desktop images were becoming the norm at Ohio Valley Community Credit Union," HR/Marketing and Business Development Manager Robyn McGuire said.

Details such as computer wallpaper and screen savers may seem insignificant, but they are an important factor in creating an appropriate professional message in the office. OVCCU recognized this and hired Profound Communications to create customized wallpaper and screen saver package using the OVCCU logo.

"When we contacted Profound Communications to create our screensaver and desktop background, they understood immediately the need to maintain our professional branding integrity," McGuire said.

Now when people enter OVCCU they are no longer welcomed with employee’s personal messages, including countdowns or declarations of personal affection. Each computer desktop features the OVCCU logo in a brand appropriate method.
